Back in the US...for now

We're here! We landed in San Francisco last night and were picked up by Richard's sister, who kindly became our milkshake enabler (the one food that mere mention of perked me up out of my post-flight stupor). We came back to Sacramento and passed out in the guest bed for a whole 8 hours! Our thanks go out to late night burgers, shakes, and melatonin pills for making that possible.

This morning we were greeted by the family dog Rasselas, who looks like a small brown teddy bear. He's had some problems in the past getting his eye fur trimmed, so often he has to peer at you through thick bangs that any 80's prom queen would love. He's all trimmed back now, so his teddy bear resemblance is even higher. While I love the fur-free environment that comes with not owning a pet, it's  nice to hang with Rasselas.

On the docket today is some shopping and Chando's tacos!
